Following the success of the Semen Merah Putih Retailers Trip to South Korea and Shanghai in 2014 and 2015, Semen Merah Putih is once again inviting building material store owners to participate in a travel program called PESTA LIBURAN.
PESTA LIBURAN is a form of appreciation from Semen Merah Putih for the achievements of store owners who have become partners and part of the Semen Merah Putih family. Specifically for this year, Semen Merah Putih is offering five travel options to these owners South Korea, Umrah, Bangkok, Japan, and Hong Kong—with a total of 1,030 participants across JABODETABEK, Banten, West Java, and West Kalimantan.
The PESTA LIBURAN series kicked off with the South Korea trip, which took place from February 29 to March 5, 2016. During this event, Semen Merah Putih invited 50 store owners from West Kalimantan to enjoy the romantic atmosphere of Nami Island, go skiing at Mount Sorak, and take historical tours to Shineungsa Temple, the Korean Folk Village, the National Folklore Museum, and Gyeongbok Palace.
Following South Korea, the next travel destination held by Semen Merah Putih was PESTA LIBURAN – Umrah, which took place from March 16–24, 2016. During this event, Semen Merah Putih invited 100 building material store owners from across JABODETABEK, Banten, and West Java on a religious pilgrimage to visit the city of Medina and the holy land of Mecca.
Just one week after PESTA LIBURAN – Umrah, Semen Merah Putih organized PESTA LIBURAN – Bangkok, held from March 30 to April 2, 2016. In this program, Semen Merah Putih invited 624 store owners from JABODETABEK, Banten, and West Java for a historical tour of the Grand Palace, Emerald Buddha, and Wat Arun Temple. Furthermore, participants were treated to a luxurious dinner together on the White Orchid Cruise and watched a Muay Thai Show, which blends elements of art and traditional Thai martial arts. PESTA LIBURAN – Bangkok stands as the largest overseas trip ever organized by Semen Merah Putih.
After Bangkok, PESTA LIBURAN continued to the Land of the Rising Sun. For PESTA LIBURAN – Japan, Semen Merah Putih invited 100 other store owners to tour the cities of Tokyo, Kobe, and Osaka from April 6–12, 2016.
The PESTA LIBURAN series concluded with PESTA LIBURAN – Hong Kong, which invited 180 store owners from JABODETABEK, Banten, and West Java to vacation and enjoy the modern beauty of Hong Kong and the luxury of Macau from April 16–21, 2016.
The PESTA LIBURAN program is planned to continue at the end of 2016 with travel options including a cruise, South Korea, and Australia. Semen Merah Putih hopes that through these activities, the relationship between all building material store owners and the management of Semen Merah Putih can be strengthened as part of the Semen Merah Putih Big Family.
